Life will often lead us down roads that have
no light at the end of the tunnel. We make a choice in that moment to keep walking down that path and simply deal with the
unexpected, or we stop walking; we stand still. The illusion that everything
is going to be okay sets in. Whether we walk or we wait, we believe that we have made the best choice for ourselves. There
are events that we experience in life that transform us, and we are never truly okay again. We are changed people. It is our
responsibility to embrace that change. Rejoice in the rebirth of someone different within your soul! Rejoice in the creation
of a new you!

History
Born
in a frigid Florida February, twenty-eight years ago to lovely folks. My mother went into labor decided to take a shower and
do her hair, because god forbid she doesnt have clean underwear on and some blush before birthing a child. My father, an infinitely
patient man, arrived from work, waited for her to finish and took her to the hospital, where he sat in the waiting room and
passed out Cuban cigars.
Being an only child my parents were cautious not to spoil me terribly. My imaginary friends
created a world for me that never was going to become a reality, a house filled with siblings. I begged for many years for
a sibling until I became a teenager and realized that I would have to baby-sit and that seemed like a hassle.
My public education was a solid foundation to many years of higher learning. I went around
trying to figure out what I needed to do with a degree in the sociology of religion and figured that teaching would do for
a while.
Someday, I will be the co-owner of a burrito
empire and be sitting drinking some pink drink with an umbrella in it on an island paradise somewhere. Until then, I write
within the pages.

a bit about me...
I am. I am a woman. I am a fantastic
woman. I love being a female. I love wearing pink and owning many pairs of shoes. I love to giggle. I love to smile. I love
making others laugh. I am sarcastic. I am often cutting with my sarcasm. I struggle for self-expression. I crave attention.
I am loyal. I love my parents. I love my friends. I believe that the people in my world are by far the greatest people on
earth. I yearn for intimacy, but often reject commitment. I hunger for more. I would like to be perceived as an academic,
but feel I fall short. I love to read. I secretly watch old television sitcoms. I wish there was more to my life and fear
not achieving it.
